Vibration and Shock Control Innovation at Work

Seicon Limited is continuously exploring new designs and pursuing patents to isolate and reduce vibration and shock waves. The following projects are in development:

  • We are currently testing and modifying a prototype isolator mount design for installation inside a washing machine. There has been interest in our technology by the washing machine industry. A provisional patent has been filed for this application.
  • We have built, installed and tested prototype motor mounts for the marine industry with very positive results. A fourth generation prototype mount has been produced and installed in a Seicon-owned boat. In addition to being more effective than existing marine isolators, these motor mounts are natural frequency “tunable” while fully loaded and operating to constantly adjust for changes in the operating environment. This “tunable” feature is particularly important to the marine industry, enabling engines to operate at speeds previously prohibited or “forbidden” and respond to changes in RPMs while the engine is fully operational.
