John Cunningham – Chairman

Mr. John Cunningham is the chairman of Seicon and identified the underlying concepts of the SEICON SYSTEM®. He is currently a professor at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Mr. Cunningham founded Seicon in 1998 and has been developing and pursuing patent and marketing initiatives since then. He received his bachelor’s from Kenyon College in 1962 with a major in physical chemistry. Mr. Cunningham pursued his interest in structural systems at Yale University where he received a bachelor of fine arts in 1963 and a master in fine arts in 1965 from the Yale University School of Art and Architecture. He also was a post-graduate fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in 1966 and in 1978 received a certificate from the Harvard University Computer Graphics Program

Fred B. Miller – President

As president of Seicon, Mr. Fred B. Miller provides senior leadership and strategic direction for the company’s operations. He received a bachelor of science in accounting from The Ohio State University in 1962 and joined Price Waterhouse LLP on July 1, 1962. During the next 33 years, Mr. Miller served as a consultant and advisor to businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction and high-tech, ranging in size from start-up companies to large, multi-national Fortune 500 companies. While with Price Waterhouse, he also served as the chief executive officer of several companies in the manufacturing and service industries under court appointments as trustee or receiver. Mr. Miller was a partner with Price Waterhouse until his retirement on June 30, 1995.

Robert E. Roemer – Vice-President of Technical Applications

Mr. Robert E. Roemer, vice-president of technical applications at Seicon, is responsible for the application of patented technology, including the SEICON SYSTEM®. His last assignment was as president of Stone & Webster India Ltd. and vice-president of Stone & Webster Asia Corporation. He retired April 1, 2000 after 28 years with Stone & Webster. Mr. Roemer received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Western New England College and did graduate work in mathematics and applied mechanics at Northeastern University. He has extensive experience in the research, development and commercialization of basic engineering concepts, with particular focus on structural impact and vibration mitigation. He also has published extensively and holds several patents.

James A. Baron, Ph.D. – Vice-President of Product Development

As vice-president of product development, Dr. James A. Baron is responsible for developing and implementing product-line strategies for Seicon. He received a bachelor’s in chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1994 and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1998. After a postdoctoral appointment at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Baron served as principal research scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio in analytical chemistry and later in the advanced materials groups. He also has published extensively and holds several patents.
